Private Piano Lessons

Weekly one-on-one lessons taught on a Yamaha C-5 grand piano. Each lesson is tailored to the student , built around their goals, their pace, and their musical interests.

Technique, repertoire, music theory, improvisation, note reading, sight reading, chords and scales, performance skills, and Piano Maestro practice games.

Instrument Requirements

A piano is required for taking lessons. For acoustic pianos, Julie recommends Welch Music in Boise welchmusic.com

For digital keyboards, minimum requirements are 88 weighted keys with a sustain pedal. Recommended models: Yamaha P-45, Yamaha P-125, or Roland FP-30X.
